Established in 1947 by Shri.V.Sivagurunathan at Tirumangalam with Simple Hand Grinding Equipment, We are now moving towards the Successful Completion of 76 years in Manufacturing and Wholesale Distribution of the Best Quality Toor Dal, Orid Dal, and Moong Dal. He was the one who was first responsible for highlighting our family name Seenaa Vaanaa.

In 1972, we were the Pioneers in installing Electrical machinery in Tirumangalam. To meet the increasing demand, another manufacturing unit was set up at Madurai in 1976. Later further enhancements and alterations were done in the ’80s and ’90s. Now we are one of the most successful mills running in Madurai delivering high-quality dal to most of the departmental stores in and around Madurai, Dindugal, Karaikudi, Kovilpatti, Melur, Nilakottai, Paramakudi, Ponamaravathi, Rajapalayam, Ramnad, Sattur, Singampunari, Sivagangai, Kalayarkoil, Sivakasi, Srivilliputhur, Theni, Bodi, Tirunelveli, Trichy, Usilampatti, Vathalakundu, Nilakottai, Vadipatti, Aruppukottai, Kariappati, Vilathikulam, Nagalapuram, Ettayapuram, Manamadurai, Thirupuvanam, Kamuthi, Thondi, CK Mangalam, Tiruvadanai. We also have Exported to Dubai, Qatar, Canada, Hong Kong, and Germany.

In 2017, we branded our products under the new name “LAKEENA” to drive a load of value for our Products. Modern machinery is installed to increase production and enrich the quality. As a way of assuring our customers of our quality, we got the license from FSSAI ( Food Safety and Standards Authority of India ) under Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006.

Going forward, we aim to increase the Customer’s choice and attraction to our product we entered into retail markets delivering products online. Quality Uncompromised is our main Motto.
